There are many stakeholders with interests in the Blaauw Eco Forest, please see list below for the appropriate contact for your enquiry

Trinity Western University: 

The land is managed by TWU’s Environmental Studies Department, which has established a stakeholders group that meets twice yearly to discuss forest management. For information email Dr. David Clements   or Chris Hall

 

Glen Valley Watersheds Society (GVWS): 

GVWS is a local non-profit organization that works to protect and enhance the ecological integrity of the Nathan, Palmateer, Graham and West Creek watersheds.  Email their coordinator for information, stewardship@leps.bc.ca

 

Watchers of Langley Forests (WOLF):

WOLF was essential to the protection of the Blaauw Eco Forest and they continue to work to protect forested land throughout Langley.  They can be contacted through their facebook page: www.facebook.com/SaveMcLellanPark

 

Langley Field Naturalists (LFN):

Langley field Naturalists are a local naturalist group affiliated with BC Nature, you can contact them through their webpage:  www.langleyfieldnaturalists.org

 

Township of Langley (TOL):

The Parks Department of the Township of Langley operates the McLellan Forest Natural Park just west of the Blaauw Eco Forest and connecting trails.

The Township of Langley regularly empties the garbage can by the entrance to the preserve, for other concerns please contact TWU as they are the manager of the property.
